Federica’s testimonial

Good morning, everyone! We are in Cutignano, and here with us is our new client Federica, who is back today after her first month with the capillary system.

We wanted to ask her to tell us about her feelings, the changes she has experienced, and her relationship with herself and others during this period.

“I found myself not just feeling good… but great!

Bear in mind that I lost my hair about two years ago, and at that moment my world fell apart. I had long hair, and seeing it disappear was devastating.

If I had known earlier that a solution like this existed, I would have done it not two thousand times, but four thousand times!

Luckily, I found this centre: it was a turning point for me.”

Enrica talks about how hair loss had also deeply affected her relationship with society:

“Unfortunately, when a woman loses her hair, she also loses part of her femininity. People immediately tend to associate you with illness, they look at you with pity, put a hand on your shoulder and say “I understand”.

But there isn’t always an illness behind it: sometimes there are other causes, and in any case, no one should feel less of a woman because of it.”

She then talks about how she felt after having the prosthesis fitted:

“From the moment they applied the system, I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m me again!

It looked just like my own hair. The best feeling was when, in the shower, the first drop of water touched my head: an indescribable emotion.”

We take so many things for granted — like combing our hair or feeling the wind in our hair — but for me it was like being reborn.

The hair is light, natural, even more so than my own used to be!”
